Payment Terms
Payment Methods & Charges
Payments made via credit card will attract an additional 2.5% processing charge, which will be borne by the buyer. Additionally, GST @ 3% will be applicable on all relevant billing.
Payment Timelines
- As per MSME guidelines, all outstanding payments are requested to be cleared within 45 days from the billing date, or as mutually agreed. Timely payments help us maintain efficient operations and ensure uninterrupted service.
- Advance Payment Requirement
- Orders will be processed upon receipt of a minimum 40% advance payment from the client.
Product Pricing Variations
Material-Based Pricing
Prices may vary depending on the materials used. Jewellery featuring old ruby stones or full AD (American Diamond) stones will be priced higher compared to those using glass stones.
Finish-Based Pricing
Certain finishes such as dual tone polish, gold polish, and rose gold polish will be priced higher than standard finishes like white or mehendi polish.
Effective Pricing Timeline
Revised pricing structures are applicable from February 2026 onwards, considering the rise in input costs despite our efforts to control pricing.
Made-to-Order Products
Price Fluctuations
For made-to-order designs, prices may vary slightly due to:
- Fluctuations in metal rates
- Changes in polishing costs
- Increase in artisan (kaarigar) charges
We assure you that any such variations will remain reasonable and will be communicated wherever possible.
Order Confirmation & Cancellation
Confirmation Requirements
Custom orders will be processed only after:
- Final design approval
- Agreement on pricing
- Receipt of advance payment
- Confirmation of timelines
- Cancellation Policy
Once an order is confirmed, cancellations may not be possible, especially for customized or made-to-order products.
Quality Assurance
Product Standards
We strive to maintain consistent quality across all our products, ensuring each piece meets our standards before dispatch.
Handcrafted Nature
As most items are handcrafted, minor variations may occur. These are inherent to the process and enhance the uniqueness of each product.
Damage & Repair Policy
Appu G does not accept claims for broken pieces, damaged items, or loose stones once products are dispatched, as such issues may occur during transit. However, we are happy to assist with repairs at the customer’s cost.
Additional Services
Polishing & Repairs
Appu G offers polishing and repair services for both Appu G products and other jewellery items belonging to our clients.
Charges & Logistics
All courier charges (to and from Appu G) must be borne by the client unless stated otherwise. Services such as polishing, repairs, and customization are chargeable, with costs discussed and approved beforehand.
Turnaround Time
These services require a minimum turnaround time of 25–30 days, as each item undergoes a detailed process including repair, polishing, inspection, and final packaging.
